Thrilled to share that Aavia is one of ten companies globally to be accepted into the latest cohort of the Mayo Clinic and ASU MedTech Accelerator!

I’m energized by this opportunity for collaboration with and guidance from some of the top doctors, scientists, and healthcare business professionals in the world.

Given Aavia’s large ecosystem across various healthcare and consumer players, this will be instrumental to continue our incredible ovarian hormone health and B2B2C momentum, plus provide even greater value to our members & society.

Mom, I know you cried the day I decided not to apply to med school anymore, but I hope you are super proud that Mayo Clinic and ASU chose Aavia!

~ do a breakdown of how you're growing a health app without spending money, they said ~ (thanks Christina Farr & Casey Lewis for the nudge)

Part I. We don't want to gate keep here because the more each women's health company succeeds, the more women's health advances and we all win

  1. Hormone health is heating up & we're here to serve: cycle related hashtags such as luteal, cycle syncing, hormone health, etc. are trending on TikTok with 1B+ views and Google searches are at a all-time high. Since the initial bump started in 2021, our hypothesis is that this lines up with the increase in health care providers who took to social media during the pandemic

  2. Listen to your customers to build the best product possible WITH them. This results in earning trust and "I'm telling everyone!!" aka rapid WoM growth. (Yes, Alexis Ohanian Sr., I know you told us so :))

What we’re hearing: 🤔 Why is tracking hormone conditions so hard? --> we're making it fun & easy 🤔 I never get anything back from entering my data in other apps --> please find here your personal trends, predictions, and recommendations 🤔 Data-privacy is a top priority --> we have anon sign in! 🤔 People on birth control want to track too! --> we encourage you to track your cycle, we're not a period tracker 🤔 School taught us nothing about our bodies --> leading with education 🤔 Pregnancy anxiety is REAL --> we can't solve that but can provide the education, tools, and community! [and so much more]

also we're transparent with them on what is still a WIP, what has bugs, what they can expect, when we make a mistake, etc.

  1. Lutealgirl on TikTok (aka Julia Pintar) is the older sister we wish we had growing up - reaching 4M+ views in the last month!!! She's authentic and leads with education rather than pushing product. The magic happens in the comments

What she has learned: 🧠 Education = informed decisions 🤯 Feeling in control = knowing what to expect & WHY 🧬 Science-backed content ≠ boring 🔐 Understanding your cycle = unlocked potential 🌎 We all crave a safe, judgement-free community (more coming on this soon)

~ 💜 The girlies are in control and the momentum is real ~
