Highlights
I have seen a million resumes and go through another million nearly every week. Most of which are really tough on the eyes. Those, subconsciously, I can almost guarantee, I don't give a fair shake. I have been writing resumes and cleaning up LI profiles (for a fee of course) for the last few months, with some great success. If you are employed looking for work, not employed and looking, in college and looking; I would love to "help" you write a resume that recruiters like me will actually read and not skip. Let me know. Cheers
It has been really awesome to be in the Chalk office this week. Really opened my eyes to the kind of person, specifically software engineers, that not only works here, but that will succeed. This incredible team of engineers is full of people that absolutely love to code and build and solve crazy tough software issues. They don't want to be tech leads or people managers, they just want build incredible software all the time. This has been so helpful for me to see. So much of what I have done as a tech recruiter/sourcer in the past won't work here, and I kind of love that. At nearly a decade of doing this, I feel like a damn rookie, and I am ok with it.
So... if you absolutely live, eat, sleep, and drink code. If you have been programming since you were a kid, and couldn't wait to get out of school to start building. Maybe you dropped out of college because you could learn more with a company, but you could never work at the big companies because they don't actually build software anymore. Well... then Chalk is the place for you and check out our careers page.
