Marketing tactics will die if you never let the strategy live.

Get out of the tactic death trap at all costs.

Because every tactic will perish if you never solve the why.

When you put too much emphasis on tactics and not enough emphasis on strategy, we feel like the tactics are dying but in reality, the strategy never got to breathe.

This contributes to marketers proclaiming SEO, lead gen, or paid is dead.

Tactics start to become zombielike exercises if they are not set up to achieve the strategic goal.

Spend more time, energy, and effort on defining those macro strategic changes that breathe new life into your marketing:

  • Craft a narrative and point of view that your market understands.

  • Develop market-message fit and amplify to those who need to hear it most.

  • Reach your buyers in the channel where they are most and not just where you want them to be.

  • Reduce friction with how your customer experiences your product.

Jumping from tactic to tactic will make you feel like the walking dead.

Define the strategy that focuses on the greater why.

Avoid zombie work, at all costs.

Because if you’re not growing, then you’re dying.
