Highlights
Hot Tip! 🔥 There are an average 15+ concerts in your city tonight, even on a Tuesday.
💡 Among those 15 gigs, there's most likely an up-and-coming artist that's incredible and could potentially create an unforgettable moment, for under $20 per ticket. We don't have to wait for our favorite acts to come into town. We don't have to spend half a month’s salary on all of our moments.
We built Velvet Cake to provide a simple and fun way to discover concerts 🎸 and new artists around us. Simply select a date in your city, and listen to a playlist of the performances around you.
It’s like walking down Frenchman Street in New Orleans 🎉 , and picking which bar has the best sound coming out of it.
Over the last few months, we’ve partnered with SoundCloud to bring concerts to the masses, in a simple and fun way.
And now, we're working hard to build more delightful concert snippets ✂ throughout the SoundCloud experience, to allow any independent artist to get discovered.
🙏 Special thanks to Rohit Agarwal, Rafal Kuklinski, Jordan Pettinato, Maria von Watzdorf, Max Mockett, William Mazuel, and team for taking this step with us and for believing in us from the beginning.
🌎 Our collective mission is to help emerging artists drive people to their amazing shows, catapult their careers, and give them a fair chance to be seen & heard over the larger acts at larger venues.
We’re excited to unveil these snippets, step by step 👣 , over the coming months.

🙏 A special thanks and an overwhelming lot of gratitude to Rufy Anam Ghazi, Vladimir Vukicevic, David Klein, Justin Ziccardi, Erick Rabin, and Brad Hindson for supporting and being with us from the start.
📣 And a quick shout out to a few spontaneously delightful upcoming artists we may have never heard of:
Tonight: hemlocke springs in London!
Tomorrow: Delilah Montagu in NYC!
Thursday: From Indian Lakes in SF!
Friday: Archil & Leon in Paris! Woah...
