Highlights
We had a fabulous afternoon at SGTech learning from very knowledgeable speakers. 🙌 Thank you very much, Sunil Rai , Chan Yip PANG , Kennie Ong for taking time off your busy schedules and sharing valuable insights. 🙏🙏🙏
And Christopher Lim was on the panel to share about his entrepreneurial journey too.
My key learning points:
▶️ From Sunil: Balance the economics with the control you are giving to the investors. (Nothing is "just on paper". It's better to know what you're giving up for the money you get.)
▶️ From Kennie: There are LOTS of active investors in Singapore, including our government agencies. (So, stay around. And join SWITCH.)
▶️ From Chan Yip PANG : If you want to know how a VC treats founders, talk to founders of failed startups that were previous investees. (A friend in need is a friend indeed.)
▶️ From Christopher: Angels, VC firms, corporate investors, have different objectives for investments. (So, get the right type of investor for the right stage of your startup journey.)
Thank you JASON YOLT • TEDx for your smooth moderation and engaging the crowd. 😁
Thanks all attendees for joining us. 🙌
