Adam Arend

Adam Arend is a dedicated Great Lakes environmental science professional, holding a Master of Science in Environmental Policy and Planning from the University of Michigan. With a strong academic background, Adam completed a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Science with high honors from Ave Maria University. Additionally, he pursued studies in Philosophy at the University of St. Thomas.

Throughout his career, Adam has gained valuable experience working in various roles related to coastal management and environmental research. He served as the Coastal Community Development Coordinator at the Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy. Previously, he held the prestigious position of J. Philip Keillor Fellow at the University of Wisconsin Sea Grant/Water Resources Institutes. Adam also contributed as a Research Assistant at the Institute for Social Research and as a Student Consultant at For Love of Water.
