Adam Csakai is an expert in small-scale medicinal chemistry, specializing in hit library analysis, new target design, synthesis, and lead target development & optimization. He also has experience in early-stage process chemistry, handling milligrams up to 100 g and reaction vessels up to 5 L in volume.

With a strong background in analytical techniques, Adam is proficient in 1H & 13C NMR, ESI & APCI mass spectrometry, various chromatography methods, including HPLC and SFC, LC-MS, GC & GC-MS, polarimetry, and crystallization, among others. Additionally, he is well-versed in using software like Sci-Finder and Reaxys.

Adam Csakai pursued his academic endeavors by obtaining a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Organic Chemistry from the University of Colorado Boulder and a BS in Chemistry from the University of New Hampshire. He has held key positions at prestigious organizations such as GlaxoSmithKline Pharma GmbH, where he worked as an Investigator in Discovery Chemistry, focusing on Encoded Library Technology.

His professional journey includes roles as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Northwestern University, a Research Scientist II at AMRI, and earlier positions during his academic years, such as being a Doctoral Graduate Student, a Senior Thesis as an Undergraduate Student, and undertaking summer internships at both The Institute for the Study of Earth, Oceans, and Space Department at UNH and Bristol-Meyers Squibb Medical Imaging.
