I’m incredibly grateful to have just received the UAE’s golden visa, granting me a 10-year residency in the UAE, with automatic renewals.
Due to the Emirates’ forward-thinking leadership, the nation is becoming a global leader in innovation and the adoption of AI technologies.
I truly can’t underscore the immense opportunity and importance for AI startups to engage with the UAE market. It’s not only my belief, but also the US government’s:
“The Biden administration is proactively encouraging US tech groups to seek artificial intelligence deals and partnerships in the United Arab Emirates…”
I’m thrilled to be back in Dubai, and soon Riyadh, for another two months - after a fantastic time in the region this past November & December. I’m excited to continue spearheading the expansion of the Emerging Venture Capitalists Association (EVCA) in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the UAE.
The GCC is home to incredible entrepreneurial talent, coupled with a highly supportive public sector, both in the UAE and KSA, that’s dedicated to ushering in the next wave of innovative companies.
I look forward to working with our local partners to welcome a group of US-based VCs to the region in March, to meet with the entrepreneurial ecosystem’s leading family offices, founders and VCs.
If you’re in the region and interested connecting, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
