Adam Gowen is a dedicated individual with a strong passion for Indigenous cultural perspectives, higher education, and social justice.

He holds a Bachelor of Arts Honours degree in Indigenous Studies from the University of Wollongong, where he graduated first class.

Currently, Adam serves as the Centre Manager at Country Universities Centre Southern Shoalhaven, providing essential facilities and services to students pursuing higher education.

His professional background includes various roles at the University of Wollongong focused on Indigenous studies, student engagement, community collaboration, and educational & cultural resource production.

Adam also completed a Graduate Certificate in Theology with a specialization in Indigenous perspectives from the University of Divinity/Whitley College/NAIITS in 2018.

Prior to his work in the education sector, he managed a retail business in Ulladulla that dealt with consumer electronics, communications, and musical instruments.

His academic achievements include being on the Dean's Merit List for his Bachelor of Arts studies, further showcasing his commitment to excellence and learning.
