Adam Kahn is a seasoned advertising professional with over a decade of experience in the industry. Prior to his advertising career, he gained valuable experience from renowned entities such as William Morris Agency, The Fox Kids Network, and The Donners Company, working on notable films like Mr. & Mrs. Smith and Thank You For Smoking.
Currently serving as the Chief Creative Officer at Grey Midwest within the Grey Group, Adam leads the creative department and supervises all creative endeavors at the agency. His primary focus is on digital platforms, although he is well-versed in all mediums. Adam excels in developing ideas that transcend specific mediums and encourages a three-dimensional approach to creativity.
Previously, as the Group Creative Director at mcgarrybowen, Adam oversaw the Verizon Branded Entertainment division, collaborating on campaigns involving high-profile figures like Lady Gaga and Beyonce. His work on the Verizon #socialimprint project with Christian Siriano garnered industry recognition, including a Digiday Award for innovation. Adam also played a key role in the successful launch of the Maserati Ghibli in the US market in 2013.
Before his tenure at mcgarrybowen, Adam held the position of Creative Director/Partner at Rain and CB Labs. In 2012, he was honored with a Webby Award for Best Mobile Game for his creation 'The Adventures in Timmy: Run Kitty Run,' an original iOS game. Additionally, he developed the popular social karaoke app 'Hook’d' by MuseAmi, catering to the millennial audience.
Throughout his career, Adam has worked with a diverse range of clients including Verizon, Maserati, Walmart, PepsiCo, and Hugo Boss, delivering award-winning campaigns and earning accolades from prestigious organizations like The FWA, The Webby Awards, and the New York Emmy's, among others. His creative prowess has been recognized on various platforms, establishing him as a prominent figure in the advertising industry.
Adam's educational background includes studies at Hyper Island, Rhode Island School Of Design, Livingston High School, Livingston Senior High School, and a Bachelor Of Fine Arts In Design, Art from Alfred University. Aside from his professional achievements, Adam also indulges in graphic design and artwork during his leisure time.
