Highlights
I graduated from the Founder Institute Sao Paulo in 2019. It helped me navigate the uncertainties of my first entrepreneur experience with its format and contents, while helping me build a network around it. I recommend it to anyone in the early stages of building a business, and you don't have to have a product running, by the way 😉

Why Philosophy education should matter in business. "You can't think well without writing well, and you can't write well without reading well." - Paul Graham (https://lnkd.in/dJRkCzkZ)
Once, a Philosophy professor asked me why I was doing a Bachelor's in Philosophy. That conversation changed my whole perspective on Philosophy and 4 years of my life.
My answers like "I want to think critically" or "I wanna know how great minds thought" were received with "nope, you won't find that in a Bachelor's in Philosophy, next".
It was only when I said "I want to read better" that he said, "Ok, that you'll find here. Here, you learn how to read and write properly".
Reading taught me to listen, and writing taught me to speak. Complex philosophic arguments are a great exercise for the mind, so wait until you have to write a professor-reviewed thesis on Aristotle's causes or Heidegger's dasein.
Today, 4 years after graduating, I confess I didn't read a primary source again (I can't handle Heidegger anymore), but I can assure you I use the skills I got in Philosophy in every day of my life, be it business or personal issues/conversations.
We don't need to go through a Bachelor's in Philosophy for that, but we can stop fast-reading business books for a bit and try the books that those great business writers are reading. And in those are always the classics.
