Highlights
It was a fun, productive and long Day 1 at the Farnborough International Air Show. We knocked out executive interviews with: CNBC ✅ Reuters ✅ Bloomberg ✅ The New York Times ✅✅✅ (three separate interviews!) On deck for tomorrow is the Wall Street Journal, Politico, The Guardian and and handful of top Aero trades… plus a press conference with a partner. Huge kudos to my partner in crime Juliet Collins-Achong for helping to arrange all this activity. On we go!
We're in the midst of a major PR/GR/Marketing campaign at Honeywell Aerospace Technologies related to runway safety, and part of that includes flying reporters on our Boeing 757 test aircraft to demonstrate how our Surface Alerting (SURF-A) technology can save lives. We had the pleasure last week of flying Dominic Gates of The Seattle Times. He's likely America's preeminent aviation safety reporter, and his story is below. This is an important aviation safety issue, and it's time for the industry to act.
