Adam MacLean

Assistant Professor of Quantitative & Computational Biology at USC

Adam MacLean is a professional with a diverse educational background and a focus on stem cell research. He has a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Systems Biology and an MSc in Bioinformatics and Theoretical Systems Biology from Imperial College London, as well as a BSc in Mathematical Physics from The University of Edinburgh. Adam has held various research positions, including as an Assistant Professor at the University of Southern California and as a Postdoctoral Scholar at UC Irvine, Imperial College London, and the University of Oxford. His research interests lie in developing mathematical and computational tools to study stem cell models and understand their function, dynamics, and regulation through dynamical systems theory, Bayesian inference, and applied mathematics.
