Highlights
How do you build belonging in a distillery? Last Thursday night, Re-Imagining Migration cohosted A Celebration of Co, an evening celebrating Accelerating Humanity-Centered Learning with The History Co:Lab and iThrive Games. We played, got to know each other, connected, and learned from National Geographic Explorer Tara Roberts. While I was proud of the program, I think what I will remember most from the evening was the warmth and generosity in the room.
At the gathering, we shared our collective vision for youth learning in a world of migration and change. We talked about the power of collaboration and the role that sharing stories can play in an education that supports all young people, including immigrant-origin youth.
I deeply appreciate all who joined and helped make it a joy-filled, connection-building night and an authentic celebration of community. For those who weren’t there, stay tuned. There will be more good work to come.
