I was recently having a late-night swim in the sea with a friend on the beautiful Algarve coastline when it struck me how lucky we were to be in a position to enjoy an environment in which we could do this. The water was free of plastic, the air felt clean and the stresses of everyday life slipped away.
My friend is big on conservation projects and he talked passionately about protecting the creatures on this planet that make the whole ecosystem work harmoniously. I was in awe of his passion and higher calling beyond his day job.
I shared my story of helping Neil and Steve build the Greenify business that provides a simple, easy way for every business and individual to make a sizeable, immediate, and appropriate impact on our planet with less thought than it takes to order a product online. We, the people, are part of the problem, and working hard to neutralise our unconscious impact is what Greenify is all about.
It made me realise that in a complex world, Neil and Steve have created something that helps people do the right thing for the planet in a simple way, and yet we’re not shouting enough about it. So here’s me shouting about my pride in being associated with two amazing individuals.
