Hi LinkedIn…i was hanging with my side chick Thread for a second there but I remembered you pay my bills. Forgive me…I’m back.
Founder confession....
I am 12 years into being an entrepreneur with 2 businesses behind me, and on the 3rd evolution of the 3rd business. I have made not a few but a lot of mistakes and underlying many of those mistakes were a few things.
✅ I didn't trust myself because the entrepreneur life chose me or like I now say "It fell on my lap and I picked it up." I had no idea what I was doing and because of number two...it took me a while to finally trust myself. ✅ I didn't own myself, my life stages, my decisions and my choices. I knew this entrepreneur life was the life I needed to step into when I picked it up off my lap ...but I was always looking for something else and did not give myself fully to it. ✅ I didn't always show up. It was easy to think having an outgoing bubbly energetic personality was showing up...it is not and I hid behind that for a while...until I couldn't. ✅ I did not have a growth mindset. If I had that when I was younger...some mistakes would have been avoided.
I am curious to hear (if you are aware) what was actually underneath the mistakes you made as a founder or as a career person navigating work-life.
