To my friends and colleagues around the world,
Everyone knows Shiri from the media as the lioness mother she is - the one that held her two little redhead kids tightly in her arms, trying to protect them from all that is evil, defending them with that terrified look in her eyes. But that was just one moment in our Shiri's life. That's not all she is.
Shiri is very modest and likes her anonymity. She didn't even upload a single picture of her kids on social media. If only she knew how famous she would become since October 7th, she would probably feel very embarrassed. She spent most of her life in Kibbutz Nir Oz. She was born and raised there, and together with her husband Yarden, it was there she decided to establish their home. Their love is incredible, as if taken straight from a fairy tale. They had so much room for laughter, you could laugh with her endlessly. Together they expanded the family and brought Ariel and Kfir to life. No doubt the ginger gene ruled supreme there.
A sensitive woman with a gentle and beautiful spirit that is very aware of her desires, principles and values. A loyal, supporting friend that will always help in anything to anyone.
She loves Robbie Williams. When he finally came to Israel, Shiri immediately bought a ticket, while being pregnant with Kfir. She said she treats herself with that even if it's after she gives birth. She surely deserved that! And of course, as required from an Argentinian, she likes eating meat. She and all the family enjoy any gathering that has some good, well-made meat.
Shiri was kidnapped from her home at Nir Oz, along with her redhead kids, Ariel and Kfir, on October 7th 2023 in a horrifying and documented moment. That moment became a symbol of the unimaginable cruelty and evil of Hamas. On that day, she was also orphaned as her parents, Yossi and Margit, were brutally murdered by the evil Hamas terrorists.
We need her back home NOW, along with Yarden, Ariel and Kfir! We will not rest till ALL 129 kidnapped are back home, and Gaza is free from Hamas.
