Happy Birthday to The Self-Care Habit 🎂! My very first published book. A 10 year calling that finally materialized 2 years ago.

What I’ve learned working in the mental health space with 100s of clients and in my own personal journey is that life is gonna keep LIFING.

Disappointment, sadness, stress shows up in all aspects of life, and we get to love ourselves through all of it.

Compassionate self-care is what will get you through these tough moments and help you find your own version of inner balance.

I wrote this book so you can have a manual on how to care for yourself through tough times and also build habits that will bring you into your flow.

Taking time for yourself is the greatest gift you can give you.

You deserve to live a life that fuels you 💫.

Thanks for everyone who’s supported the book over the years and shared with me how the book has helped you.

I always love hearing which stories and tips resonate with you and how you apply them into your daily life.

Cheers to choosing yourself over and over again, especially in the hard moments.💗

Let yourself feel it. We all carry a backpack of unprocessed emotions with us every day.

How much lighter would you feel if you were able to put that bag down?

The way to reduce that heaviness is to let yourself feel emotions. Instead of adding more to that bag... let yourself feel what comes up for you day-to-day.

I know it's easier said than done cuz emotions can be hard... but you know what's harder? Resisting it.

Resisting an emotion can cause more discomfort, anxiety, or tension.

Something I read today was... emotions cannot permanently harm us.

This was such a great reminder. Many of us run away from difficult emotions because our brain thinks we are going to die.

And yes, emotions can be painful to feel but they can be FELT, processed, and released.

Your self-care message this week is: Let yourself feel it

Your brain, body, and spirit will thank you!

What are some ways you let yourself feel it?   Sending you lots of love, Aditi     PS. I've been thinking to start teaching live classes again soon. Any self-care topics you want to learn more about? Comment or message to let me know!
