This fascinating Sunday Times Magazine article celebrates the first 200 years of the RNLI and the 146,277 people they have saved.

I had the opportunity to learn more about the charity and work with their brilliant team when a service of thanksgiving took place at Westminster Abbey earlier in the year.

On Thursday I joined my colleagues in the Abbey's Comms and Digital Team for an inspiring and moving day volunteering at The Passage. We spent our time preparing and serving breakfast and lunch and meeting clients.

We also got to see how the dedicated staff and volunteers provide a huge range of services: accommodation, housing support, healthcare, education and employment, various activities and chaplaincy.

Earlier this year, Westminster Abbey donated £500,000 to support one of their major projects, and this video follows the Dean of Westminster on his visit: https://lnkd.in/e4P_2H6H.

A big thanks to Max Elgot and George Buttery for organising the day.
