Adrien Carre is the co-founder and Managing Director of Mazi, a modern Greek restaurant in Notting Hill, London.12 He opened Mazi in June 2012 with his wife Christina Mouratoglou, aiming to revolutionize Greek cuisine in the UK.13

Carre is French-born but was raised in London.2 He developed a passion for Greek food after extensive travel in the region.2 Prior to founding Mazi, Carre worked in the food industry for over a decade, including a stint at London food producer Wild Harvest.2
