Adrienne Szafranski

Experienced educator, writer, and community activist

Adrienne Szafranski is a community advocate dedicated to promoting inclusive schools and advocating for basic rights for special education students. She is an active parent leader involved with Massachusetts Families Organizing for Change and the Similarly Different support group. With a background as a middle school language arts teacher, Adrienne has experience teaching in diverse settings including private, public, and residential schools, and she also serves as a soccer coach.

Adrienne Szafranski's education specialties encompass general education and inclusion classrooms, MCAS preparation, homework tutoring, as well as creating adaptations for special needs students and English language learners. She pursued a Master's degree in Applied Linguistics from the University of Massachusetts Boston and holds a Bachelor's degree in English from the University of Florida.

Throughout her career, Adrienne has held various roles within different organizations, including serving as an Administrative Assistant at Massachusetts Families Organizing for Change, co-presenter at Advocacy Bootcamp of MFOFC, co-chair at Medford SEPAC, and a parenting columnist at Medford Patch. She has also worked as a teacher at multiple institutions, including Milford Public Schools, St. Francis School, Germaine Lawrence, and St. Patrick School.
