She holds a Bachelor of Education and a Masters of Journalism from Dublin City University, along with advanced diplomas from institutions like Columbia University, Cornell University, and Harvard University.

Áine Kerr has been recognized for her achievements, receiving awards such as Woman of the Year in Media 2018 by Irish Tatler Magazine and being listed among the 100 women helping to change Ireland by The Irish Examiner.
