🤔 How might we improve co-creation in urban design & planning initiatives between citizens, local government, and the private sector, for more sustainable and equitable cities?

This is the challenge I’m tackling alongside my teammates Emily Rho and Farah Joy Basha as part of our graduate research project in OCAD University's Strategic Foresight & Innovation program, and we’d love your help in spreading the word.

As part of this research, we’re looking to speak with:

👉 CITIZENS: People (21+ years old) who have participated in any kind of community planning or urban planning/design initiative that involved collaboration with local government or private sector groups

👉 LOCAL GOVERNMENT STAFF: Anyone working in municipal government (open to all cities) who has participated in urban design / planning projects where collaboration with local citizens and/or private sector was a core aspect

👉 PRIVATE SECTOR INDIVIDUALS: Anyone working in urban planning & development, real estate, technology, or other sectors who have collaborated with local government and/or citizens as part of an urban planning/design initiative

If you meet any of the above criteria, we would love to connect! To participate, please fill out this short survey: https://lnkd.in/ehtCdCsk

If you don’t meet these criteria but are also interested in the topic area, we invite you to share this post with folks in your network who may be a fit!

Questions about the project? Reach out to me at [email protected] for more information.

If you have comments/concerns reach out to OCAD University Research Ethics Board at [email protected] regarding file no. 102253.
