Aizar Enciso Dominguez is a co-founder and former Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of Deep.Meta, a tech startup using machine learning to predict and prevent defects in steel production.12 He holds a PhD in Quantum Computing from Imperial College London.2

Aizar co-founded Deep.Meta in June 2020 with Osas Omoigiade, who has a PhD in Metallurgy.23 The company aims to improve efficiency and reduce carbon emissions in the steel industry by analyzing production data using artificial intelligence and machine learning.1

While Aizar was initially listed as a director of Deep.Meta Ltd, he resigned from this position on September 8, 2021.34 As of January 2025, he is working as a Machine Learning Engineer at DeepMeta, which appears to be the same company with a slight name variation.

Prior to his current role, Aizar has also worked as an AiCore Fellow and a Machine Learning Engineer at Adla. He participated in the Google for Startups' Black Founders Immersion programme, which provided support for refining pitch decks and guidance on working with investors.156
