Highlights
Once again on one of my pet themes -inequality.
Interesting to note the huge difference in where wealthy live between USA and China and the rest of the world.
Additionally, as I've often said, even in India the gap between the haves and the have-nots is widening even as the number of wealthy grow.
What was an eye-opener for me was the comparison between China and India.
Though we've always known that China is a quite a bit ahead I did not realize how large the delta was.
Despite about the same population, the median wealth in China (which to me a better metric than GDP or even GDP per capita) is 9X India. Surprisingly even the number of $ millionaires is 9X India.
Clearly we have a ways to go. But the journey has begun !!
