it’s so helpful to have a central database for controlled substances that clinicians can log into to understand what meds a patient has received and from where

other things that should have central databases:

  • cultures with sensitivities and what antibiotic was given
  • pathology slides
  • imaging reports

care everywhere is good until it’s not but having these in a central place would save so much faxing and wasted time for patients
