Don't be an ambulance chaser, be an ambulance driver. I'm sure there is going to be zero restrain from security vendors on this #Crowdstrike issue. One thing is clear, security is tough, your best wins are met with silence and ROI demands and your losses are punishing.

🚨 "It's not me, it's you" 🚨

🔒 Ticketmaster & Santander Affected: A significant security breach has hit Ticketmaster and Santander, with unauthorized access to a third-party cloud database containing sensitive customer data.

💻 ShinyHunters Selling Data: Cybercriminals known as ShinyHunters are selling over 1.3TB of stolen data, including personal information of 560 million Ticketmaster customers and 30 million Santander account holders.

🔍 Blame on Snowflake?: Hudson Rock, a cybercrime intelligence company, claims that this data was stolen from one vendor in particular: Snowflake. This conclusion came after discussions with the hackers responsible.

❗ Snowflake's Response: Snowflake denies any security failure on their part, suggesting that the breach occurred through customer accounts using stolen credentials.

Interestingly, this may not be a case of 3rd party software vulnerability but rather if Snowflake is to be believed, an attack where credentials were compromised and then used on Snowflake accounts of these enterprises to extract data.
