Al Costa is a seasoned entrepreneur, mentor, and academician with a vast experience in building biotech and high-tech startup companies. He has founded and scaled six enterprises across the US, UK, Brazil, and Spain, leveraging AI and big data in his business models. Al is the CEO of TeknTrash, a UK-based startup that collects consumer product data from trash to help consumer product companies obtain insights on their sales efforts, their consumers' behavior, and encourage recycling. Additionally, Al is the CEO of Alkol Biotech, which specializes in improving feedstocks to replace oil, plastics, and oils in fuel production, among others. Al teaches big data and ML at EAE University, where he provides mentorship and guidance to aspiring entrepreneurs.

Al holds a Master's degree in Computer Engineering from the University of South Florida and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology from Saint Leo University. Al is an accomplished author, having written five books, including his latest novel 'Chryseis: Soul Insurance,' which explores a world where insurance companies pay for sins. In his spare time, Al plays the keyboard and recently released an AI-generated music album called "Calabi-Yau," which celebrates string theory.
