The USA has experienced the result of a Russian invasion first hand, 911 is a direct consequence of the Russian 1979 invasion of Afghanistan, this ultimately resulted in the rise of the Taliban, Al Qaeda and ISIS. No Peace treaty or ceasefire has ever been an obstacle to Russia, they have reneged on every one, so this is not an option. If Europe and the USA do not, once and for all defeat and punish Russia. Russia will continue to invade countries as it has done with impunity for hundreds of years. Just in the last 100 years they have invaded, Finland, Hungary, Czechoslovakia, Afghanistan, Moldova, Georgia and Ukraine, not to mention the invasions of multiple countries during WW2 that were sanctioned by the Allies. Here we are in the 21st Century and Russia knows they can invade any country they wish, destroy, murder and rape the population with impunity, as the Worlds, "civilized countries" eventually abandon their support for the invaded country and allow Russia to do what ever they want. There is only 1 course of action: STOP WITH THE POLITICS AND TIMID RESPONSE; arm and assist Ukraine now with the most advanced weapons, training and manpower. If the USA and Europe don't, this war will escalate, it will encompass every nation in Europe, the death and destruction will be immense then countries like Venezuella will follow Russia's lead as they already are. Therefore USA and Europe, listen and act today, every country in Europe and the USA must declare their support to be ALLIES of Ukraine and to liberate all Ukrainian territories occupied by Russia. Immediately!! launch an Allied air assault on all Russian military targets in the Russian occupied territories with the full might of the Allies missiles, drones and aircraft and destroy every single Russian target from the Dombas to Crimea. The targets must include, every air defence installation, every road and railway bridge(including the Kerch Strait Bridge), every airport(military and civilian), military camps, posts and redoubts containing soldiers, material, ammunitions and vehicles of every size, all sea ports, fuel storage depots, pipelines, electricity power plants, water plants, refineries and any infrastructure that might be remotely useful to the Russian military. Pour in land and naval equipment and man power to take over the occupied territories and the Ukrainians Black Sea Exclusive Economic zone. Establish a military defense line on the Russian border that will be occupied permanently by NATO forces. ACT NOW Europe and the USA, stop being timid and seize every Russian foreign asset; financial or otherwise and use it to rebuild and repair the damage caused by this invasion.
