Alan Goldfarb is the Founder and Managing Partner of Orangewood Partners, where he co-leads the firm's investment and operational activities.12 He has extensive investment experience, including roles in larger organizations before founding Orangewood in 2015.2

Prior to Orangewood, Goldfarb was a Managing Director and Head of Special Situations at Senator Investment Group.12 He was also a founding member and former Principal of The Carlyle Group's distressed and corporate opportunities fund (Carlyle Strategic Partners).12 Earlier in his career, he worked as an investment banking Analyst at Merrill Lynch & Co.12

Goldfarb has served on several boards of directors throughout his career, including ABTB from 2017 to 2022.34 He has also been a board member for companies such as Pacific Bells, K2 Towers REIT, Peaceable Street Capital, and George Industries.1

He graduated with a B.S. in Finance and Accounting from Miami University (Ohio), summa cum laude with University Honors.12 Goldfarb was born and raised in Cleveland, OH.2
