Alan Silverman is a highly accomplished audio engineer and founder of Arf! Mastering in NYC, specializing in high-resolution audio. With a career spanning several decades, Alan has an impressive track record in the music industry, having worked with renowned artists and producers. Starting at Electric Lady Studios in the 80s, he collaborated with industry giants such as Mutt Lange, The Rolling Stones, AC/DC, Hall and Oates, and Foreigner. Transitioning to A&R Recording Studios, Alan worked with legendary producers Phil Ramone and Arif Mardin, along with artists like Billy Joel and Judy Collins. His portfolio includes session work on orchestral film scores for esteemed directors and composers. Alan's expertise led him to freelance work, producing records for Judy Collins and engineering soundtracks for feature films, including 'The Fantasticks.' In the realm of television, he served as a music supervisor for Sesame Workshop, working on projects for Sesame Street network television specials.
