Last week, it was announced that I will be stepping into the role of Director of the Marketing Leadership Institute at the Wisconsin School of Business. I am excited for this opportunity and honored to be entrusted with this position.

As as graduate of the MLI, I have felt a weight of responsibility to elevate the program to new heights. Over the last week, I also felt lifted up by an outpouring of support from our students, faculty, and alumni. Thank you so much for all your encouragement and support.

Ever since the Center for Brand and Product Management and the A.C. Nielsen Center joined forces to become the MLI, it has stayed committed to developing future marketing leaders and building industry connections to benefit the whole WSB community. I plan to continue that long legacy and build on it. I hope that all of you - my network - will support me in this effort by not screening my phone calls when I hit you up for a guest lecture, a mentoring request, or a million other ways that you can support marketing education. Thanks in advance!

When you have spent your whole career in marketing (and I’m measuring that in decades at this point instead of years), it can be frustrating when a potential client goes with someone else because they are cheaper. I get it. Budgets are tight and I don’t have a monopoly on marketing knowledge.

But that makes it all the more meaningful when a client recognizes and appreciates the high level of expertise that my team and I bring to the table. I recently heard a client tell one of my account managers:

"You guys are giving us the support we need and that we've been missing for 25 years."

This client has had other marketing agencies. They have had other CRM solution architects. So it meant a lot to know that we were helping them and doing it in a way they hadn’t experienced before. It makes me very proud of the work we do at WORQFLOW.

Shoutout to Hannah Brennan, who I know is the real champion behind this quote. Keep up the great work team!
