Albana Zhorda is a professional with a Master's degree in Public Administration/Affairs from City University of New York, Baruch College.

With a rich and diverse professional background, Albana Zhorda has held key positions at the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) including Chief of the Management Support Unit in the Bureau of External Relations and Advocacy.

Prior to her role as Chief, Albana Zhorda served as a Programme Specialist in various divisions within the Regional Bureau for Europe and the CIS at UNDP, focusing on Western CIS and Caucasus, Western Balkans, new EU Member States, and as a Desk Officer for Western Balkans.

Before her tenure at the UNDP, she gained experience as an Executive Officer within the organization, and also worked as a Consultant at the UN Commission on Global Governance.

Albana Zhorda's expertise extends beyond the UN system, having worked as a Deputy Project Coordinator at the European Commission/PHARE Program and as a Consultant and Trainer at the NGO 'Development & Management'.
