Albert Minj

Researcher

Albert Minj is a highly experienced Researcher known for his work in GaN research since 2009, focusing on high power and high frequency applications.

He serves as the Principal Investigator of the MSCA-funded UNOGAN project, currently developing in-operando metrology solutions for key GaN device components.

Albert is a specialist in advanced Scanning Probe Microscopy techniques, with a focus on exploring mesoscopic-nanoscale physics of epitaxial layers, nanostructures, and defects.

He holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Condensed Matter and Materials Physics from the Università di Bologna, a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Electrical Engineering, and a Master of Technology (M.Tech.) in Microelectronics from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay.

Albert's professional journey includes roles as a Researcher at imec, former positions at KU Leuven, ENSICAEN, CNRS, University of Valencia, and internships at Fachhochschule Hannover (FHH).
