Albus Brooks, M.B.A., is a community leader based in Denver with a passion for community development.

He has an extensive background in politics and served as the Director of the Issachar Center for Urban Leadership before venturing into public office.

Albus made history by becoming the youngest African American ever elected to Denver City Council, where he served two terms, including two terms as Council President.

During his tenure, he championed progressive legislative victories aimed at fostering inclusivity and addressing various social issues in the city.

Notable achievements include co-creating Denver's largest affordable housing fund, expanding the Denver Preschool Program, and decriminalizing marijuana possession for young adults.

Albus Brooks holds an M.B.A. from the University of Denver and currently holds the position of Vice President of Business Development and Strategy at Milender White, a prominent Development and Construction firm operating in Southern California and Colorado.

He is actively involved in various boards and commissions, in addition to participating in prestigious national and international fellowship programs like The Marshall Memorial Fellowship, the NewDEAL Leaders, and the Aspen Institute-Rodel Fellowship.

Albus and his family reside in Denver's Cole neighborhood, where he feels most at home.
