☝️ Words I truly never really thought I’d say.
As a co-founder, I don’t feel like I’m truly going away, as this place, this platform, will always have a gigantic place in my heart and my history.
But my day-to-day, which has been dedicated to this one thing, this one dream, for over seven years, is about to shift drastically.
Looking out at the view from my desk as I was packing up my things this week gave me pause—I’ve looked out this very window for years. During ups, during downs, while experiencing virtually every human emotion from stress to pure elation…
The weather changed but the view stayed constant.
This journey has expanded my capacity, my brain, and my heart, in ways I didn’t know possible. And by working towards the unwavering—constant—vision, it led to beautiful things.
This is the part where I thank my people… Thank you to everyone who touched SimplyBe. in the last seven years, big or small, for all you’ve done not just for the company and our incredible team, but for me as a professional and a person. You’ve inspired, pushed, challenged, grown, and impacted me more than you know, and more than I can thank you for.
I am excited to officially share that I have graciously accepted the role of Chief Creative Officer at Jessica Zweig, Inc. Jessica and I are just getting started and I can’t wait to grow and expand even further in my career alongside the woman who has the utmost faith, trust, and belief in me as a creative, as a strategist, as a woman, as a human being. (Let’s GOOOO! 🪶)
(They’re playing the music, I gotta wrap this up.) I’ll leave with this: Someone near and dear to me asked me how I knew it was time to leave. I reflected on that and realized that it wasn’t time to leave.
It was time to evolve.
A bittersweet cheers to the end of one chapter and the beginning of a bright new one…The sky is always just the beginning. 💛

I started and stopped writing this post countless times. How do you possibly sum up 7 years of building something from the ground up?
The accomplishments and wins, the joy and the laughs, the clients’ lives we’ve touched, the businesses we’ve impacted or in some cases, inspired, and all the ups and downs and everything in between of the rollercoaster adventure that is building a business.
And today (well, for some time now) someone else saw the beauty and the value in what it is we built at SimplyBe. Agency | Personal Branding. And we’ve empowered them to take it into the future.

If there’s one thing we do well besides build top-notch personal brand platforms, it’s operate in alignment. And this rockstar partnership is no exception. And we are all here for it.
Personal branding was trendy when we started things in 2017. It took lots of convincing of the market to get on board with our services. Lucky for us, there were enough futurists in our pipeline to see our authentic, human approach to marketing as a way to cut through. We say all the time that people do business with people, and that’s a strategy that now so many can—and are—getting behind.
In the span of 7 years, our 20+ person team of experts has reached and transformed thousands of entrepreneurs, small business owners, corporate managers, and executives who can all agree on one thing—the power of authenticity. Seeing peoples’ brands, businesses, livelihoods, and communities flourish with not only the clarity but the empowerment in their own stories we were able to give them is the greatest gift and something I’ll carry with me throughout my entire career.
That said, in all the bittersweetness that comes with change, I’ll be moving on from SimplyBe. (by choice, and more on that soon :)) but confident is an understatement in that it’s in the very best hands.
