Alex Ainslie

Director of UX for Chrome at Google

Alex Ainslie is a prominent figure in the design world, currently serving as the Head of design for Google Chrome.

With a strong passion for public education, usable security, and the mobile web, Alex brings a unique perspective and expertise to his role.

His academic background includes a Master's degree in Learning, Design & Technology from Stanford University, a Master's in Computer Science from Cornell University, and a Bachelor's in Computing, Cognition & Aesthetics also from Cornell University.

Throughout his career, Alex has held various key positions at Google, such as Head of Design, Research, and Content Strategy for Chrome, Director of UX, Staff Design Manager, Senior Designer, and Designer.

Prior to his tenure at Google, he was involved in academic roles at Cornell University College of Engineering and College of Architecture, Art, and Planning.

Alex also gained valuable experience as a UX Intern at Google and as a Research Assistant in the Human Computer Interaction Group at Cornell University.
