Completed LeetCode Problem 322. Coin Change, using 1D Dynamic Programming Difficulty: Medium

You are given an integer array of coins representing coins of different denominations and an integer amount representing a total amount of money. Return the fewest number of coins that you need to make up that amount. If any combination of the coins cannot make up that amount of money, return -1.

I took some time off from the LeetCode grind due to having some success with a few companies getting back to me for interviews. Although 2 out of the 3 companies that I interviewed with chose not to move forward with me, I appreciated the opportunity to practice my interviewing skills with them. Interviewing is truly something you only get better at through failure and practice, like everything else in life.

I managed to solve Problem 70: Climbing Stairs on LeetCode today, and I am stoked about this one because the problem is geared towards having a 1D Dynamic Programming solution using memoization.

Due to COVID, I didn't have the best experience with my Algorithms course in college but as a result from that I am in the process of going through all the course material that was covered in that class to better equip me with my approach to solving problems more effectively, which is why I am proud of this post!

It might be insignificant to some of the unicorns here on LinkedIn, but to me, this is a sign of growth on my end, and I am proud to share it!
