Across our group we have about 40 staff based in South Africa via employer of record with The Legends Agency .

The most successful teams/people have one thing in common. They are part of the WHOLE team, not part of just the SA team.

90pc of this is defined by management & the structures put in place. Tayla-Jade who drives the People and Culture team spends a large proportion of her time ensuring that SA teams and UK teams are fully integrated and fully collaborating.

So what have we implemented?

📸 sharing the big picture monthly with EVERYONE all together, including asking people in SA to contribute fully to this.

🍾 sharing the wins together - when an SA person closes a deal the WHOLE team logs in to watch them ring the bell (or whatever the celebration is!), and vice versa.

👫🏻No more siloed meetings. Group meetings happen all together.

✈️ for the first time this year 3 people from one of our SA teams are flying to meet the team in the UK.

👶🏻🎗️matched our key policies and initiatives across both locations, including parental leave & our charitable initiatives.

🎉every quarter the whole SA team have a get together in Cape Town and we try and coincide it with UK people trips, to build the non-work-based relationships.

And lots more.

The best thing about sharing on LinkedIn that I am looking for more followers?

100 DM pitches from people promising me more followers for a small but undisclosed fee.

The worst thing?

How do I decide between them all???

🤷🏻‍♂️
