Alex Gill is a social entrepreneur, environmental business professional, educator, and author with a diverse background in nonprofit leadership, strategic change management, marketing, and communications studies.

Alex pursued executive education in nonprofit leadership at Stanford University Graduate School of Business, strategic change management at University of Toronto - Rotman School of Management, marketing management at Schulich School of Business - York University, and obtained a MA in Communications Studies from the University of Windsor.

Throughout his career, Alex has held key roles such as Director of the Social Ventures Zone at Toronto Metropolitan University, Founder of Mendicant Group, Professor focusing on Social Entrepreneurship, Politics, and Social Action at Ryerson University, Executive Director at the Ontario Environment Industry Association (ONEIA), and Vice-President of Communications and Marketing at Imagine Canada.

With a strong academic foundation and practical experience in entrepreneurship, environmental business, and nonprofit management, Alex Gill continues to make significant contributions to the social enterprise and sustainability sectors through his work, teaching, and writing endeavors.
