Alex Hartley

Steam and Science Educator

Alex Hartley is a science educator with a background in STEM education for elementary, middle, and high school students, both in schools and through extracurricular programs. Passionate about integrating more STEM and science into elementary classrooms.

Alex's educational journey includes studying at Outdoor Academy, University School of Nashville, Wesleyan University for a Bachelor's in Neuroscience and Behavior Psychology, and a Master's of Education from the University of Massachusetts Boston.

Throughout their career, Alex has been involved in various organizations such as being a STEM Integration Facilitator, Board Member at Rollins Griffith Teacher Center, Classroom Volunteer at Kindersteam, and a Research Assistant at Umass Boston's Center of Science and Math in Context, among others.

Former roles held by Alex include Science Educator at South End Technology Center @ Tent City, Resident at Boston Teacher Residency, Junior Associate in the Transformation Management Office at District of Columbia Public Schools, Teacher at Breakthrough Collaborative, and more.
