An inspiring TEDX talk from Rowena Samarasinhe, well worth a listen #the94percentclub #womeninsport #tedx -
After 3 and a half years at Spurs it’s finally time to say goodbye. It has been an absolute privilege to be part of such a fantastic football club. As someone who grew up in the local area it was amazing to witness the transformation that the new stadium brought in terms of football and community. It will always be a source of pride to have played a part – however small – in delivering and operating the stadium and the associated fan experiences.
From the highs of stadium opening and ‘that’ Champions League semi-final there have also been the lows of lockdown and games behind closed doors. However, those difficulties provided the opportunity for accelerated innovation as we sought to serve our fans locally and around the world and prepare the safe return to the stadium.
As the Head of Digital Products at Spurs I delivered across a wide portfolio, from ticketing to F&B, club app, club website, social, retail, stadium attractions and OTT. I am extremely fortunate to have been able to work with such a strong brand and loyal following but I have decided now to focus on the single vertical of OTT. I am delighted to be joining StreamAMG as the new Director of Product. More to be posted on this shortly!
