I have a rare ask for you all, if anyone has connections to higher up in the sales or account management org at Salesforce, can you shoot me a message and help me get connected?

I’m having a terrible experience with my account manager and need to get some inside info to get the support I need

Thanks for the help!

This may be an unpopular opinion (or not best practice) but can we please discontinue the use of “congrats on your most recent round of funding” as personalization in cold outreach emails????

It’s only 1/2 a step above knowing the company name. It’s automated and distinctly impersonal. I don’t respond to these.

I’m not just here to complain, I’ve got solutions too…

Go a step further, what will that new round of funding mean to that company and persona? More hiring? More tooling? What specifically would you imagine/expect the next hurdles are?

Demonstrate you understand their pain, even if they haven’t experienced it yet, be a sales soothsayer.

I know there are a number of good outbounders who get this concept and crush, this message is clearly not for them.

I challenge sales to be more creative than “congrats on your series C”.
