Alex Muhlbach

Entrepreneur, started two companies, VC backed startup experience (Y Combinator '18)

Alex Muhlbach is an experienced entrepreneur who founded a college social networking company post-graduation, gaining valuable insights into the entrepreneurship process.

He built and managed a product comprising mobile apps (iOS and Android) and a responsive web app designed for college campuses, with a user interface akin to a Slack and Facebook hybrid, tailored for intranet solutions.

After piloting the product at several East Coast universities and acquiring users through perseverance, Alex then ventured to Silicon Valley to scale the company and secure venture capital.

Subsequently, during his time in San Francisco, he made the decision to cease operations of his first company and joined Grabb-It, a new venture, as part of the Y Combinator summer class of 2018.

At Grabb-It, he deepened his understanding of the startup process, acquired new skills, and garnered further valuable experience.

Following his tenure at Grabb-It, Alex embarked on launching Crashpadz, a successful side business focused on providing community-centric and affordable housing solutions.

With a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Rhode Island, Alex blends technical prowess with entrepreneurial acumen, having held roles ranging from Electrical Engineer to Founder & CEO.

Currently, as the Owner/Operator of Crashpadz Inc, Alex is open to exploring fresh career opportunities and new ventures within the realms of entrepreneurship and innovation.
