Thanks to Rady Children's Hospital-San Diego for having Elizabeth Bottenberg and I for a career panel today. It was a treat to talk to the Summer Medical Academy students about our work at Illumina. The students asked great questions. I can't wait to see them around campus in a few years.

Enjoyed judging at the 70th Greater San Diego Science and Engineering Fair! Much better weather than last year and a new venue. So much great science. I always love learning the student’s favorite part of the process. Thanks Illumina for giving us volunteer time off to give back to our community.
