Alexander Mabanta is a highly educated individual with an extensive background in academia and public service.

He holds a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Jurisprudence and Social Policy from the prestigious University of California, Berkeley School of Law. Prior to his PhD, he completed his Bachelor's Degree in Political Science & Rhetoric, achieving Magna Cum Laude with High Honors from the University of California, Berkeley.

Alexander Mabanta has a strong educational foundation, having also attended Saratoga High School and The Harker School.

Throughout his career, Alexander Mabanta has been actively involved in various organizations and roles, showcasing his commitment to community engagement and social justice.

He has held significant positions such as being a Delegate at Alameda Labor Council, Chancellor's Public Fellow at University of California, Berkeley, Senior Fellow at Humanity in Action, Dale Minami Chair at Asian Pacific American Law Student Association, and External Affairs Editor at the Asian American Law Journal.

Furthermore, Alexander Mabanta has served as the Public Policy Manager at Asian Law Alliance, John Lewis Fellow at Humanity in Action, and Financial Literacy & Economic Justice Conference Executive Director at UC Berkeley Public Service Center.

His dedication to public service is evident through his role as the Chair of the Peace and Justice Commission at the City of Berkeley and as the VITA Director of Public Policy Education at UC Berkeley Public Service Center.
