We've been working on is getting our ducks in a row for our SOC 2 Type II in 2024Q3 (90 day monitoring period starts next week)
As part of that we selected Stephen Rees-Carter from valorinsecurity.com to perform our pentest.
A big part why we hired Stephen was for his niche knowledge and hands-on experience with the Laravel this helped us not only find issues in the platform but also quickly remediate them. With his help we were able to patch all the findings within days of discovery.
For anyone out there building on Laravel, I would 100% recommend selecting Stephen as your pentest vendor. It was a pleasure to work with him and we'll see him again in 2025 when we complete our next annual pentest for Civia.com
