Highlights
#SiliconValleyBank was my home for 6+ years. While I left last year to be a Stay at Home Mama, the relationships I made there were for life. Joining SVB, I was a baby. But I found multiple mentors in Rob Freelen Alejandro Guerrero Vera Shokina Claire Bonus Lee and Ashraf Hebela, CFA. They helped me go the distance in professional development I hadn’t thought possible for myself.
My team Marc-Lloyd Ramniceanu Stuart Tweedie AJ Fortier and I felt like the DREAM TEAM of early stage tech in LA.
I am forever grateful. I even met my husband through working at SVB 🥰 ian gardner
With all the noise, please hear this. My friends and colleagues CARED SO DEEPLY about our clients, employees, and so did I.
I felt supported and heard, and was even giving the green light to launch as much support as possible for women founders and even was in the works to support a potential SVB daycare to bring equity to the workforce one day prior to leaving.
I am so sorry to my friends and colleagues, and how this will ripple in the industry. I also know you are all so resilient.
Now is the time for community.
Now is also the time for VCs, investors, shareholders and those in tech and finance to reflect on the sheer DEPTH and intense scarcity complex that lies in each and every one of us.
How do we HEAL that? How do we create a society that BUILDS TRUST? How do we build a mindset of abundance that isn’t solely around money?
How do we build a resilient ecosystem?
And if anyone wants to chat, or wants to snuggle with babies and puppies, I’m here.
