Alexandra Killam, also known as Ali, is a versatile multimedia journalist, anchor, and producer with a passion for storytelling. With a Bachelor of Arts degree in Reporting, Strategic Communication, and Journalism and Mass Communication from the University of Wisconsin, Madison, Ali has honed her skills through various roles in the media industry.

Ali's career journey began at UW-Madison, where she reported, anchored, and produced for The Badger Report, covering significant events like the Scott Walker recall efforts and the 2012 drought. Her involvement with WSUM 91.7 FM Madison Student Radio as the assistant news director, reporter, and anchor further shaped her journalism prowess.

With a strong foundation in reporting from internships at WLS-TV in Chicago and WKOW-TV in Madison, Ali adeptly handled the demands of news reporting, translating stories for the web while operating as a one-man-band. This hands-on experience prepared her for a successful career in journalism.

Ali's professional portfolio includes roles at prominent organizations like KTTC-TV and Fox 47 News in Rochester, Minnesota, where she garnered recognition for her in-depth reports. She also received accolades such as the Minnesota Associated Press Broadcast Award and a nomination for a Midwest Emmy Award for her contributions to KTTC NewsCenter.

Outside her journalism career, Ali contributes to the community as a board member of the MedCity Foundation, which supports individuals with blood cancer. Her efforts in broadening the foundation's outreach through social media and organizing events showcase her dedication to meaningful causes.
