Alexandra Segenstedt is a dedicated and experienced lawyer specializing in migration law/international law and advocacy/policy work.

She has a strong background in migration and asylum policy issues, advocacy and negotiation work, as well as EU- and UN-related matters in the field of migration.

With international experience and excellent language skills, Alexandra currently serves as a migration expert and specialist at the Swedish Red Cross, focusing on advocacy work across a broad spectrum within the migration and asylum field and advancing migration-related initiatives within the global Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement.

Appointed by the government as an expert in two state investigations, she contributes to the inquiries on 'Legal Ways to Seek Asylum in the EU' and 'Residence Permits Due to Practical Implementation Obstacles'. Alexandra is frequently sought after as an expert in panels and seminars nationally, within the EU, and globally. She also brings extensive experience as a media spokesperson.

Alexandra Segenstedt holds a Bachelor's degree in International Relations and Affairs and a Bachelor's degree in International Law and Legal Studies, both from Stockholm University.

She has held key roles in organizations, including as a Senior Migration Adviser/Legal at the Swedish Red Cross, and previously as a Senior Migration and Policy Advisor at the same organization.
